Video: Internet the City
This conceptual piece illustrating a pre-Google World Wide Web was part of an educational CD-ROM that taught users about the Internet (including Gopher and Usenet), then launched Netscape 1.0.
“Everything is intertwingled” pays homage to the visionary Ted Nelson, who, in the early 60s, envisioned a world in which human knowledge was universally interconnected and coined the term, “hypertext” (inspiration for the later, “hyperlink”).
